FELIX "SPARKLE"

We finally picked up the kitten today and words cannot express how excited the girls are right now. Emily is like a little Mother Hen and Gabriella is so silly with him. They were a little disappointed to find out Sparkle was a boy, but, that only lasted a moment. We did convince them to change the kittens name to Felix, so from now on his middle name will be Sparkle. I must say, he is sooo cute! Gus on the other hand has hissed twice at the poor little thing. Hopefully, in time they will become best buddies. We set up the spare bathroom for the kitten, so he will be nice and safe at night & when we leave.

Last night was better than expected. Gus is still being a stinker and hissing at Felix. The girls have very different reactions to when he hisses...Emily cracks up (the devil in her) and poor Gabriella is scared to death. Needless to say Emily has noticed this weekness in Emily, so everytime Gabriella goes by the kitten Emily hisses at her.
I keep asking myself..WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!
There is 1 black kitten left. Felix's sister, if anyone is interested.
