Memory Lane

I have been thinking lately about 1988. With all this Facebook stuff, it is hard not to. I am glad to connect with girls I haven't spoken with in almost 20 years, but, it does make you realize how fast time goes. I heard a Def Leppard song on the radio this morning and made me think of my friends from senior year. We loved listening to "Pour Some Sugar on Me" constantly. No, I was not friends with strippers. We were just suburban wannabe head bangers..if that makes any sense. And, it was 1988..hair bands were big. Def Leppard is still playing together after all these years. Still sounding great. I did feel very old when I ran across this performance with the band and Taylor Swift singing "Photograph". If you haven't heard of Taylor Swift, she is a young country singer and I mean young. She was born in 1989..6 years after this song was released. After the performance " Swift called the Def Leppard collaboration "a dream come true," and said she was introduced to the band when she was still in the womb by her mother, a huge fan.
I think she does a pretty good job keeping up with these old guys.
