Maybe they meant "PHAT" not "fat".
I think there are many ways to describe the way she looks, however, "fat" would not be one of them.
Poor thing! Can't people ever be nice? These young girls are critized if they are "too skinny" and if they look healthy they are called "fat"...AHHHH!!!! No wonder women have self confidence issues.
