What do you think?

In the March 2009 issue of Allure Julia Roberts says,

"I think it should be against the law to take a picture of a celebritys child," notes Julia. "And all the, like, 'Who's got the cutest baby?' I had to restore my faith in people when, one night, I was on the computer, and I ended up stumbling upon some pictures I had never seen of my children playing at a park. What upset me was all these comments like, 'One is cute; that other one sure is ugly.'" People can be so mean!
Should celebrities kids be off limits?

I think it should be illegal to take any child's picture with out their parent's permission.

And all this Who's baby is cuter? Is just wrong. Every child and every person for that matter has value far beyond the content of their faces. I find people who base their idea of beauty on how physical attributes alone to be extremely shallow. Many of my co-workers are like this and I want to smack them with the idiot stick. :D I think it's a terrible thing to only call a child cute, I like to ask a child a question like "Where is your nose?" or something age appropriate and then comment on how smart they are, or if they do something funny to say that it is funny, not that it's cute. I think we need to encourage children to be who they are and not just be "Cute".

/soapbox.

I agree with Kelley, too many people focus on physical beauty and don't focus on what really matters.
I know a lot of celebrities try to shelter their kids, but, a lot try to expose their children to a "normal" life and by doing so they are always followed by photographers. It seems they can never win. Poor kids must feel so scared and I can't imagine what any parent would feel like if they heard someone call their child ugly...ugh!
